Easy Fitting tyres

How about the Michelin Carbon its a hard wearing tyre that might be just right for this time of year? If a pro race goes on easy, maybe another michelin will too?

I find that in general, non-folding tires (i.e. wire-beaded) are easier to install than the flexible-beaded folding clinchers, albeit heavier and can't be packed as a spare if carrying a whole spare clincher is necessary. In my experience, Continental wire beaded tires (such as the Ultra sport) are economical, reliable, and are fairly easy to install and are a good value where low-weight is not an issue.

Ease of installation is also dependent on the rim, and for some rims, all tires are pretty tight.
