I was recently editing a video interview that I had recently conducted
when I heard my pump beep. I stopped the editing took off my headphones
and checked to see what alarm message was on my pump. Nothing, must have
been the hourly time signal, or something like that. So I put my
headphones back on and went back to my editing when AGAIN, I heard my
pump beep. Took off my headphones to check my pump for an alert message.
NOTHING! Went back to editing and after once again hearing the beep, I
finally realized it was part of the interview that I had been editing.
Moral: Turn off all your beepers when recording!

LOL! You should see me when a cell phone goes off around me.
I'm deaf in one ear so I can't localize sounds. Makes it fun
to find the cordless phone, or my cell phone when it's
ringing at home, even when I'm in the same room with it. I
have to SEE it; hearing the ringing does nothing for me as
far as locating it.dave
