Entry Level Clipless Pedals

Ive been riding crank bro egg beaters which i got from performance bike for around 50 bucks. I like em alot even though i think they are primarily mountain bike pedals, but alot of my friends ride em on the road and they recommended them to me so i hope that helps.

I am very happy with my Crank Brothers Candy pedals. I thinks it's stupid to have a mountain/road difference in pedals since it's simply marketing. You don't go any faster on a clipless road pedal and a mountain pedal isn't any heavier than a road pedal. Although there are some mountain pedals built like tanks, most pedals will work just as well in either application. In fact, the only thing mountain pedals may have over road pedals is when riding in thick mud.

I'm not sure what that is in United States Dollars, but the Keo Classic pedals run $80 USD.
