Hello

I have an Ergomo, and I just discovered that Ergomo has made some installation videos available here http://ergomo.net/?module=tresc&id=177.

The installation process doesn't match the one described in the included manual. On the videos, they tell me that I should face and rethread the bottom bracket before installing the Ergomo sensor. Is that important? I checked the price for those tools, they are very expensive.

How do you install the Ergomo, those of you have purchased it?

If there are lockrings that butt upto the outside of the bottom bracket shell on the frame (like the old school 'adjustable' side) then I'd say it would be a given to reface the bottom bracket.

Whilst you're at it get the threads tapped too - it should help with the ease of installation. I get the feeling that the Ergomo folks would almost prefer that their unit be installed with minimal force until you do the final tightening.

Well it is a common comment from most ergomo users that this is important. Typically they get their (good) LBS to do it.
