Hi

New to the Forum and just getting into cycling again.

I'm not a super-dedicated cyclist, but I do enjoy it and would like to ride to and from work a few times per week. I live in Southern Adelaide (Hallett Cove) and work at Flinders Medical Centre. The ride home has a hill that even a decade ago when I was much fitter killed me. I could cycle up, but I was sore for days and days.

I'm considering buying an Electric Assist Bike. I'm pretty set on the eLation. I like the way the electric motor uses all the gears and isn't direct to the hub. I realise this isn't a dedicated e-Bike forum and my question isn't really about the electric side.

I have the option of either buying a complete bike: eLation Bikes or getting a kit and having it fitted (I'm not mechanically minded) to a different bike.

What do people know about the brand Esperia. I've tried a number of bike sites and googling in general, but I can't find much.

Thanks

:)
