Even the Canadians hate us!

I was recently in canada and after a few conversations it became apparent that Canadians really really hate Americans! I always knew they hated the Shrub but it goes further than that. They think Americans are fat, greedy, arrogant, loud, rude, stupid…the list goes on and on. And these are supposed to be our friendly neighbors?

Why do we direct all our anger against France when our worst enemy is right next door?

These freaks have health care for everyone, take care of their less fortunate, and they allow gays to marry. They have strict gun control laws. They have less violent crime per capita. They are de-criminalizing marijuana. They seem to care about this thing called “the environment”, whatever that is. They refused to join us in Iraq. Their strange people are polite and unassuming. They think George Bush is a moron.

How dare they have a socialist, peaceful, liberal, intelligent, sophisticated society right across the border from us! How dare they!!!

I think we should re-name Canadian Bacon to Freedom Bacon. That’ll show em, right?

Or better yet, lets invade Canada.

I think we tried invading Canada during the Revolution as well. That didn't work out so well either. I invade Canada 2-3 times a year. Cycle with some friends in Toronto(very cool city) and bring back some of the true Mike's Hard Lemonade. Not this malt beverage **** we have in the states.

I completely disagree with your observation. I spend a lot of time in Canada; Toronto, Windsor, Quebec. I find Canadians in general to be wonderful charming folks.

As far as Americans being fat, greedy, arrogant, loud, rude, and stupid, I'm so sure that they are wrong in many many cases.

Jealousy and that is quoted in thousands of US dollars per capita GDP. No wonder they have to "provide" health care. And no wonder those who, because of age, have to wait for health care.

Health care in Canada is good for those of child bearing age. But get old and its "take a number and wait". If you want to buy health care, go south. And they do.

Ya know thats sad... because the overwhelming majority of people I know really like our neighbors to the North. And I have a feeling right now, its like this country. The very liberal are by far the loudest. Thats their right, but just because they're the ones making the most noise, I don't believe that the entire country hates us.
