Evening guys



I commute on a touring bike, and don't see how anything could be better. Tougher and more versatile than a racing bike, and faster than an MTB or hybrid. I don't see why disk brakes should be necessary.

hi don thanks for the reply, I have been riding upright type bikes all my life and know exactly how they feel, comfortable, relatively fast, upright position. Now I want to try something different and speed to work as opposed to get there in 'comfort'.
Someone said most of the new road bikes have a somewhat gritty rim for braking in the wet, this would do me fine, I just remember when I was young and not being able to stop :eek:
