The evening hate was particularly bloody today. I ran my Air Zound down on the third member of the Klueless Kager Klan I came across - stupid cow overtook on a bend, with a car already visible coming the other way. Did she drop back? Did she hell! Both I and the oncoming car had to take evasive action. And she was only driving about 2mph faster than me! I nearly caught her up at one point. Going uphill. Gaaah!

Normal rules about overtaking on the approach to blind bends do not apply when overtaking cyclists. They can,t as it happens to me all the time. A few weeks ago I was going along a quiet road in the Scottish borders. 1 car every 20 minutes type road. The first two cars I saw was when a 4x4 came up behind me and rather than wait 10 seconds until I reached the bend ahead and she could see round it she overtook almost hitting a car which appeared round the bend coming the other way. Then she pulled in at the next farm about 300 yards further on and started getting her kids out the car. Unbelievable. There,s a half mile stretch on my commute with three blind bends where the road is narrow enough that I need to take the lane. There is regular near misses maybe one every other day where KKKs can,t accept being held up for a short time by a bike and become KKKKs (Kamakazi Klueless Kager Klanners) and overtake me at a blind bend. There's usually a solid white line your side int these places. The HC states traffic should wait behind a cyclist exceeding 10mph. Fat chance.
