About half way down, apparently Cannondale have introduced
the innovation of an integrated stem and headset and called
it a "quill". It saves weight apparently.
Hang on, why was there a general move to threadless forks?

If you read it again - they've taken the 'threadless' concept one step
further. The steerer tube and stem are the one and the same now...
