Excess hamstring development?

I was lifting weights 3x/week for a long time, but I had a shoulder injury
and shifted my primary focus to cycling. I've noticed my hamstrings have
gotten much larger(and I did lifts targetting them) since I've been riding
120 miles/week, but my quads have gotten smaller(I think). What am I doing
with my position to place more stress on the hams?

Have your quads gotten "smaller" or "weaker"? Smaller could just mean
that they lost some fat around them and they're more toned and lean than
before.

For me, the quads do the most work when I ride. The only way the
hamstrings would do more work, I think, would be if you had clipless
pedals and were pulling "up" more than pushing and working in a circular
motion.

Targeting the hams probably caused them to respond quicker than your
quads, also, since they are used less and the quads need more stress to
cause them to grow. I'm not a doctor or anything, so take what I say
with a grain of salt.
