So I went on my first long distance ride in a while on a new bike.....It was not set up right....anyways.....I ended up with an extremely swollen achilles tendon.....I have missed about three days of training now and am a little perturbed. Anyways has anyone experienced this and/or know what was most likely the problem? My Feet were going to numb during the ride too if anyone cares. I moved my saddle back and adjust my cleats so my spindle is under the ball of my foot. I have not yet had a chance to test this....but just wanted to know what you guys thought.

I'm also experiencing Achiles pain. However mine is not swollen and the pain goes away as soon as I stretch the achiles. I've not adjusted anything on my bike since last year, however it started up this year. Cant seem to find what the problem is though.

About your feet going numb, try loosening the straps on your shoes, I find if they are too tight then your feet go numb.
