I have a 1984 Raleigh for sale. In 1984 Raleigh offered a
build-a-bike program. 555 or 753 frame and build kit. I chose
the 555 frame (753 was too flexy for me) and super record

Only 10 miles since complete ($220 USD) overhaul and cleaning
by the best bike shop in the US (my opinion), Vecchio's
Bicicletteria in Boulder, CO.
There is one small area area on the left side of the rear triangle
that rubbed to metal during the move back to Oregon. Have not
attempted to touch it up myself. Otherwise I would call the paint
Very Good to excellent with a few small chips. Please see the

White Turbo alloy saddle was previously on my Fuji S-12S LTD
touring bike and shows use.
After I know the purchaser's location I will take the bike to one
of the excellent bike shops in the Portland, OR area for packing
and shipping. Buyer to pay packing and shipping costs.
It would be hard to find a bike of this era in nicer mechanical
condition. For example, the chainrings look essentially new.
