Fahrenheit 9/11 : Did you see it and if you did what do you think about it ?

As far as I'm concerned Moore is a commy ******* who I would classify as a traitor to our country. And anybody who donates to his cause buy seeing his movie loses some of my respect. I know that freedom give him the right, but if thats the case it should give me the right to ride my Trek up his ass. And weither Sadam had WMD or not he still needed to be stoped and who better to do it the the BIG BAD ASS U.S.A!!!

Cruzzer, you can be my wingman ANYTIME. :D I like the way you think.

I guess the US should start invading a bunch of other countries too, based upon that logic. Egypt, Israel, Pakistan, Uzbekistan, North Korea, Iran, Sudan, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, and more. They torture/kill people, some have WMD, others are pursuing it, some harbor terrorists...I bet that will make America even MORE popular in the world than it is now.

Yes, the UN is corrupt. But the US isn't exactly clean either.

Bush and others in the administration have repeatedly implied and said that Saddam and Al-Qaeda had close relations, when there has been little evidence to support this. While members of Al-Qaida have met with Saddam, there is no evidence that there was actual collaboration between the two.

No, the small minority of service members who became the fodder of Mooron. The disgruntled malingerers. The Joes with "F.T.A." written everywhere. They still obey orders, for the most part but some take trips to Canada or throw up an air of conscienous objection. But make these "nancy-boys" ruck up and get ready for deployment and they sound like a bunch of 6th graders being called in from recess.

Sorry, but you're going off on a monologue - let's get back to the question.

In the army, an order must be obeyed - correct ?
The army personnel in question cannot question the order,
nor the basis for that order - correct ?

Therefore, how can you conclude that there is a minority
of people within the army who do not support the war - given that
by it's very nature those in the army cannot voice an opinion one way
or the other ?
No one can say whether 10,20,40,60 or 80% of those in the army disagree
with the war in Iraq.

Exactly what lies did Bush tell about Al Queda?
What lies about WMD did he tell? (remember the French and Russians said he had them as well)
Also what type of government do you recommend we have over here?

The bi-partisan Senate Committee investigating the Sept 11th 2001 attacks have reported two weeks ago that there was NO connection between Iraq and Al Quaeda.
The bi-partisan Senate Committee investigating the Sept 11th 2001 attacks have reported two weeks ago that there was NO financial, logistical or ideological support from Iraq given to Al Quaeda.

Bush, Rice, Powell, Rumsfeld and Cheney : all stated to camera throughout Sept 2002 and March 2003 that there was a direct linkage between the events of Sept 11th 2001 and Iraq.
They all said that Saddam had provided financial, logistical and ideological support to the SAUDI ARABIAN nationals who committed those atrocities on 11th Sept 2001.
Why did they all state this nonsense to camera ?
Who compelled them to do so ?

They repeatedly stated that Saddam had weapons of mass destruction.
They provided written and verbal evidence to support this outlandish claim.
Powell went to the UN in February 2003 with "physical evidence showing WMD" as he stated in session.
It was fabricated evidence - dodgy evidence - it was lies.

The US authorities alleged that Saddam Hussein had chemical and biological weapons.
Remember all those letters containing powder that were sent to the Senate and Congress ?

President Putin in conference with Tony Blair stated to the international media
that in his opinion, Saddam did not possess WMD (he stated this when Blair was sent by Bush to drum up support for the "coalition for the willing").

Bush repeated lied over this whole issue of Iraq.
The question that needs to be answered is : was he provided with bad intelligence or did he knowingly lie ?
Either way he's in the stew : if it was bad intelligence, his inability to manage, his inability to test, verify, enquire as to the basis of that intelligence shows that he cannot manage and has bad judgement.
If he knowingly lied, well..........
Either way, he and his goverment screwed up.

What type of goverment do I recommend that you have in the USA ?
I think you need a President who is competent and who is capable of being
a manager and who can think.
Unfortunately, Bush isn't that man.
His professional career indicates to me a man who is not competent in the art of management.

Moore is a Patriot. He sees someone doing wrong to his country or his countrymen and he is trying to stop it. He loves his country same as I do, same as you do.
Moore is not a PATRIOT! Can't you get it? He doesn't see wrong doing, HE PIECES IT TOGETHER ON FILM i.e. HE CREATES IT!. He then sells the **** to people like you who gladly contribute to his LARD ASS.

Millions of jobs lost over the last 3 years and the tens of thousands of jobs that he has managed to create in the last 3 months are on average paying $9k dollars less than the ones [/color]lost. He has accumulated a record deficit.
Uh, the economy was on a decline when GW took office and uh...9/11 really boosted our economy didn't it? Second, why don't you ask Kerry's boss..,his wife why the company that she has interest in ships 75% of their jobs overseas.. Just think if she could convince them to bring that 75% back to the good old U. S. of A, they could replace those low paying jobs, with some high paying bottle fillers...Perhaps, Kerry could sell a few of his estates and give it all to the poor???
A thousand soldiers killed, tens of thousands of innocent Iraqi's killed, and the perpetrator of the largest act of terrorism is still free. Saddam was an evil man, yes, but he was *not* a threat to America or Americans.
You are wrong again jug head, While we were on patrol of the southern no fly zone, HIS forces shot at us every day, we are Amercan and we were threatened. Not to mention the other ties he had and his blatent dislike of US. No brainer here...

And the people that should be the maddest of all; our proud members of the military. He has chosen to risk your lives on information that most of the world would not risk their sons and daughters on.
Funny how we are not mad at him. The fact is, our military believe in GW, but we LOATH Kerry and his THREE FAKE PURPLE HEARTS that he thows in our faces everytime he takes the podium.

I love how people sink to calling names, ie. jug head, lard ass, Mooron, as opposed to actually engaging in debate. It's very impressive, and it makes me think highly of them.

Hey Clem, who the hell cares what you think? Quit whining and go back to reading your romance novel :p

My understanding is that if the President of the USA issues an order for the military to act - they have no choice but to obey the order or face treason ?
Correct ?

Don't really want to get into this debate because there will be no resolution but have noted that every soldier I know that was going to Iraq was looking forward to it. Granted that is a small percentage of the one there but seems to be the trend.
They all seem to have an agenda whether it be patriotic or just want to play soldier. I am not going to judge.

LOL...Apparently you enjoy reading romance novels since you were only concerned with the term "Clem"...In southern vernacular equates to calling one Buford..Clitus, elwood...Dumb Ass...You can take you pick. Perhaps "Biff" is more fitting :D

Biff, huh...?

"MCFLY!"

Joseph Goebels would be proud.

As far as I'm concerned, Moore is a ghoul who profits off the misfortunes and tragedies of others. But hey, to each his own, I guess he has found his niche in life.

Yes I saw the movie, no it didnt change my political views as I WAS a republican all my life (37 years) until GW Bush became President.

There is NO excuse for the invasion of a country that is not a clear and present danger to the US, none, nada, dont even try it.

There to give the Iraqi people freedom? I dont think so. Freedom is NOT equal to democracy. Freedom is the ability to choose democracy, or socialism, or communism, or anything else you want including Sadam as your leader.

Moore a traitor? Yes, anyone who dares to speak out against the current government exercising his constitutional rights must be a traitor! sheesh

People currently in Iraq fighting US soldiers are terrorists? Sure, just like the people in 1776 fighting the British occupation forces were. If there were Chineese occupation troops in your home wouldnt you fight them with any means at your disposal?

Next time you want to throw stones you might look in the mirror first, try taking a look at WHY 9/11 happend, what actually caused it. No one wakes up in the morning and just decides to give his life and take thousands of other lives just for something to do.

Do I support our troops? Absolutely! But I do not support why they are there and what they are doing. I do not want anything to happen to any US soldier, or civilian for that matter. But that does not mean I have to agree with the government that sent them there, and I do not. If anyone should be tried for war crimes it should be Bush.

Saddam committed war crimes too, but I see what you mean. Are you sure you were a Republican all your life?

LOL, your typical seminar forum poster, nice try pal. Sure, Republican all your life, sure.
