I was searching for recall information and came across this item mentioned in a thread on this site. I thought I'd let the forum know to BEWARE OF THIS FORK! A comment on the thread from 2003 stated that if Trek puts it on their bike, it must be good/safe. Not true. The steerer on this fork has come loose from the fork crown posing a serious safety hazard. It will need to be replaced. The Spinner Grind 320 has been recalled in Germany, but I haven't found a US recall. I have contacted spinner to make them aware of this. Hopefully no one gets hurt as a result of this dangerous product. I suggest having a mechanic check yours if you own one of these.
