  1. It was Australia Day, and I was feeling homesick. I had two vodka's diet
cokes at lunch and from then I went off the rails. I think I did it well
though. I had Vodka chasers with diet Coke with Lemon. I am VERY drunk, but
I feel as though I am right on track.

All I had to eat all day is a VERY light bowl of cereal (yes, wrong in an
Atkins diet...but we all need SOME fibre) and a brown baguette (a sub-like
roll) with a chicken Caesar filling with just a FEW chips and a salad, and
that was all I ate (probably less calories than most Atkins devotees have in
one day). Spirits have a TRACE of carbs, as do diet cola drinks. It's quite
a downfall for me, but I know it won't be a regular thing. And I know it's
no THAT bad, otherwise I would not be able to type this post. Proof is in
the typing. It is past midnight, and I am almost coherent.

As you may or may not know, it was a special day for us Aussie's. And
feeling home sick, I wanted to celebrate. On Sky Travel (in the UK) there
has been an Australian themed week and tonight was no exception. There were
programmes on and they were making me home sick. I'm going to quit this post
now by just saying...I CAN'T WAIT TO GO HOME!!!!

    Apologies.

  2. Just shocking!

Oh... you should have watched "Anatomy for Beginners" on Channel 4 (UK) last
night, a program that Carmen would definitely enjoy. It was about the Digestion
    system.

Picture number 10 is the pancrea sliced open:
    http://www.channel4.com/science/microsites/A/anatomy/dig4.html

Tonight is the Reproduction System. If the program doesn't make you want to
take better care of your body, at least it should curb your appetite for a
while. You might get sick from watching it but you definitely won't be homesick.
