Fast Heart Rate

Perhaps you were running a fever from the sinus infection.
Than can possibly increase heart rate.

Hi Barry,

One thing that is very predictive of heart trouble is your
recovery heart rate. Walk or run quickly for at least ten
minutes - get your heart rate up to 130 or more - take your
pulse, then sit quietly for one minute and take it again. If
it doesn't decline by at least 12 beats per minute, that's
troubling. If your heart rate only gets unusually elevated
by walking outside in your neighborhood something local must
be affecting you. The local pit bull, perhaps? Anxiety can
raise your HR and prevent it from declining. The fact your
resting HR and BP are normal are good signs.
