FC-r700 compact and Ultegra 6700

Anybody running R700 compact crank with Ultegra 6700 chain and FD?
is shifting smooth?

thanks! I couldn't find it in the Shimano compatibility chart... BTW, what does the dashed line really mean? "marginally compatible". What's that in the real world?

In the real world, it doesn't mean much at all. Shimano is alleging that the 6700 chain would operate optimally with some of the other chains. If you were to ask Shimano if a Wipperman, SRAM, or KMC chain would work, they's say the same thing.
