Felt B16 vs. Specialized Transition Comp (for a beginner)

Considering one of the two bikes... The Felt I'm looking at is new, the Specialized Trans Comp is an 08 model. My question is, being a beginner (less than 6 months experience), is the newer Felt model better than the older Specialized in terms of technology/equipment?
I understand that's a VERY generalized question, it's difficult deciding between the two bikes when you don't know many people who can guide you in the right direction.
That's why I turned to you all/img/vbsmilies/smilies/wink.gif

Both are very nice bikes for experienced riders or beginners. Both should give many years of great performance if they are cared for and maintained properly.

It's going to depend on what condition the 2008 is in, price on both bikes, and which one feels the best to you ....assuming they are both the right size for you.
