Is there a fender that fits a Manitou reverse-arch fork? I'm thinking of buying a new fork. So far,
I've had best luck with Marzocchi & Manitou, and people say that Marzocchi forks are longer than
others with the same travel. I think Manitou also claimed the reverse-arch allowed a shorter fork,
but that one set off my BS alarm.

Anyway I gotta have the fender (not some downtube-mounted mud guard).

Anyone here used a fender on their reverse-arch fork?

(Assuming you aren't trying to prevent hot coals falling from your fork
- the British meaning of the word fender) I use a quick release mudguard on mine, which is held on
by what used to be a seat tube clamp for a rear light, packed out with several bits of rubber to
protect the reverse arch, and bolted to the mudguard. It works really well on the road (I've not
used this bike off road yet - perhaps when the weather gets better..). Also, the mudguard does not
have to stick out behind the arch as much as it would on a front arch design, so it is less
inclined to flap, and covers the wheel down to a much lower point, like real mudguards should.
