Fig Cake
1 cup figs, cooked
2 cup sugar
2 cup flour
1 cup milk
1 cup cooking oil
3 eggs
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 cup pecans, chopped
Cream sugar and eggs. Add milk and cooking oil; blend well. Add remaining
ingredients. Mix well. Pour into greased 9 x 13 inch baking pan and bake
for 1 hour at 350 degrees. This recipe can also yield 2 dozen muffins.
Baking time when using muffin tin is 30 minutes.
