Fellow Cyclists,
Almost a year ago, some of our guys started the Global Parts
Repository. Oddly enough, we did not think of bicyclists specifically
until recently, as we have found that a lot of people are searching
for bike stuff on our site. I am just here to make a formal
invitation to bicyclists to come to the GPR to buy and sell parts from
each other. You are also welcome to post requests for parts and post
entire items. All parts are welcome!! Recycle!
The original posting is below.
Hello,
I know that many of us have a terrible time finding parts to repair
our broken electronics, gadgets, cars, etc. Sometimes you can find
the
part, but then it's real expensive because it's from a manufacturer
or
big company. On the other hand, people with weird parts left around
often find themselves being wasteful and throwing them away.
Because
of this, the guys where I work decided it was ok to open a site for
people to post and find parts without being hassled.

It is called the Global Parts Repository. If you have some odd
parts
around, post them. If you have any suggestions or want to help with
the project, please send me an e-mail. I hope people find will find
this useful.
