it's a great race down in rhode island. very well run (as
are most FIRM events). the swim got choppy last year, but
once past the breakers it wasn't so bad. bike course is a
bit undulating, but you are only out of the saddle a couple
of times on some short steep inclines. the run isn't bad at
all, except for the final half mile or so running in the
sand. if you are in new england, you really can't go wrong
with the firmman or the timberman (up in new hampshire).
