I have just bought a campy veloce group - I've always fixed my bike myself, but I have never worked on ergo levers - any ideas on fitting them? Is it difficult? Should I get an expert to do it?
Ps I bought them from out of my town - can't turn down a good deal, so that seller can't fit them.

I have a Chorus Group and fitted it myself, the Ergo's are easy enough to fit. Did you buy the cable set as well?
Start off and take the bar tape off and clean up the bars for the sticky gunk still stiuck to them.
If you did get the cables one tip is to fit the levers and cable them up to the brakes and RD & FD. Then tape the cables to your bars with some insulation tape ( the black stuff is fine ). This allows you to ensure you have enough cable length when the bar tape is on to avoid the cables being too short. I then shortened the cable housing to the appropiate length. Wrap up the bar tape and off you go.Dave N
