Five U.S. riders finish in top 20 of Junior Worlds road race

Competition wrapped up at the UCI Junior World Championships with the United States posting one of its best overall finishes ever, placing all four riders in the top 20 of the menandrsquo;s 134-kilometer road race. Danny Summerhill led the U.S. men, crossing the line in seventh place, only thirty seconds back from the Italian victors who stole the show by sweeping the podium for the first time in the history of the event. Both U.S. women also completed the contest within the top forty with Lauren Shirock's 20th-place finish the best result.
