I noticed that the fi'zi:k Arione saddle (standard titanium rail version) has two tone microtex covering in most of the colors,
[e.g. http://www.fizik.com/catalog.aspx?subid=Arione_Wing_Flex_Grey ] but is suede/leather covered in the black version
[ http://www.fizik.com/catalog.aspx?subid=Arione_Wing_Flex_Black ]. Anyone riding the black or have experiences pro/con with the leather/suede versus the synthetic in this saddle? Mainly wondering if the suede strip is stickier to slide on for better or worse.

I rode the black version for about a year with no problems. Didn't notice any difference between it any any synthetic-covered saddle I've ever been on except maybe fewer squeaks on the leather when my shorts rubbed on it.

I've still got it around, if anyone is interested (upgraded to Spec. Toupe)

I'm using an all-black Arione for two years and there's absolutely no problem, I cannot tell a difference between the central strip and the rest.
Very stylish and comfy saddle, if your rear likes it, go for it!
