flatbar road bike

FWIW. The specs on the bike look good (to me) ...

  • so, there's probably no need to look further UNLESS you do not like the paint color and/or scheme because, as you may know, GIANT is typically amongst the best Dollar values ...
  • plus, why pay the premium (due to import duties) just for the decals on the bike?

Having said that, there are reasons to choose a different bike (e.g., JAMIS CODA) if you think that you may want more tyre clearance (a very valid reason, IMO) or if you want a steel frame (also, a valid reason) or if you want disc brakes (not so much, IMO).

Trek PDX. I use it for commuting to work in the Philadelphia metropolitan area. Awesome, versatile bike. Road cycling frame, wheels, and tires with flat bar handle. That's my recommendation.
