Ok so I am cashed up and going to buy an indoor trainer on the weekend, a Fluid2 to be exact. Anyway I found a shop near me has the fluid2 TT which is a team issue on sale.
My question is is the TT the same as the normal fluid2 and it is a US Postal service edition so does that make it older and therefor missing some of the stuff that the 2005 model has.
The TT is cheaper than the standard model and comes with 10 DVD's Vs the 1 that comes with the standard.

The DVD set and age would be the only differences. The only slight concern I'd have for the older model TT would be for any improvements they might have made to the fluid seals in 2004 based on units returned for leaks. You might drop a line to the Cycle-Ops customer service folks to see if there are any differences between the 2004 and 2005 resistance unit seals. If the TT's still covered by the warranty and it does eventually leak then you might be able to get a newer resistance unit for free and keep the DVD set. 🙂
Is the TT unit brand-new, or was it a demo/floor/display model?
