  1. I think I've pulled one too many wheelies on my Brompton and now I can't tighten the pinchbolt
on the bars any farther with the result that the bars can be waggled back and forth without too
    much effort.

Part of the problem seems to be wear in the aluminium bush that fits twist bar and clamp but I think
the bigger problem is that the clamp is made of too soft an alloy that has deformed with tightening.

Anyone elses Brompton suffer similarly and is there an easy cure?

Brompton do recomend replacing the ally clamps from time to time. I can't remember what the expected
life is, but it is in your user manual, or alternatively the Brompton site may have some info.
