Focus bikes from germany

I'm not sure if this is the right place to answer my questions...sorry

Who knows focus bikes? as far as I know they are German made ....Could we compare them with bikes from Scott , Giant , Cube , Cannondale ?

For MTB

How much reputation they have nowadays?

The bike industry today is very homogenous. Comparable money buys you similar Bikes regardless of brand. The one I have is slightly less detailed than, say a Commencal, but Perfectly OK.
