For my alevel product design coursework i am looking to design a bicycle that encorporates a mechanism that alows for it to be folded flat.
I know there are already communter bikes that allow for them to be completly folded. However i am just looking to design a bike that allows for the pedals and handle bars to be moved by a simply mechanism so that the bike would then be flat.
Therefor allowing for the bike to be put behind a sofa or a cupboard in a flat with limited space. This design would especially be attractive to communters, students or people with limited space to store a bike at home in.
I'd be grateful if anyone could provide me with ideas or opinions on this.
