Time and again I have been in situations were a bike trailer would be useful for carrying luggage -
but I have been put off by the fact that trailers go a long way towards destroying the portability
of a bike - for instance, if you use the trailer to get bags to the station, you then can't get the
bike + trailer on the train.
I was thinking of trying to put together a lightweigh, folding trailer that could be stowed on
the pannier rack when not needed - while this would be a bit heavy and bulky, I think it should
be possible.
Does anyone here have any design suggestions, or know of any similar products already available?
