  1. I am looking for suggestions for a four or five night on/off road circular
route anywhere on the British mainland (or Ireland if there is a cheap ferry
crossing). I have done C2C Whitehaven to Sunderland and Fort William to
Snowdon via the Scar Fell, so hills are not a problem. I would want to stop
in B&B or hostels and have some time exploring local hostelries and Tea
Shops. I think a distance of 250 to 300 miles depending on terrain and type
    of trail.

    Any Ideas welcome.

Get the train to Perth (YH). Go west to Loch Earn then up to Killin (YH) at
the end of Loch Tay. Go west from Killin then take the track over to Glen
Lyon. Go east to Ben Lawers then take the track again over to Lock Tummel.
I think there is aa YH around there somewhere. Then head south again or
east to Pitlochry. Over the hills to Blairgowrie (YH). Go North to Braemar
over Cairnwell and along east to the YH. Go south over cairn o'mount and
back to Perth or Dundee (YH) for the train home.
