How apropos.... Black and Blue are neck and neck.

Followed strongly by 'strange/multi-colored' - which is what the bruises look like after about a week.

    hi,

i purchased a Cannonfale CAAD 5 Black!!! it's really great.
more i have it, more i love it. (both color and bike)

i was for the Tangelo (marvellous) but in my size 54 i found only the black, and now i don't regret.

The topaz also is really wonderfoul.

FIRST thing to do on a Cannondale is to put a Carbon Monocoque seatpost (i have the ADVANCED CARBON ROAD) this solution is really far better than most of the carbon hybrid bikes around, and sure less expensive.

SECOND is to change that stupid bottom braket they put on... (weight 450 grams against the 194 of the Dura ace!!!)

Also a Dura Crank set will be a good improvment.

Then a new stem and handlebar (CINELLI SOLIDO + CINELLI SOLIDA)

    Mavic Ksyrium SSC obviously...

And you will have a GREAT BIKE (some US, some Jap, some Taiwan, some french and some italian style mixed together)

    Bye from an italian guy.

When I had my custom built Gardin built. Had a boring red and white colour theme. This matched my countries flag, Canada. Then when I moved across Canada, my uncle has a bodyshop. So we striped the bike and painted it like a show car. Three coats of primer, wet sanded between each. Three coats of paint, and has the Dupont prism clearcoat. Itis a dark purple with lots of metallic. The clearcoat once the sun hits it. Changes the colour from dark purple to blue to almost black. Where the Gardin name was, replaced it in graphix with my name. On the rear of down tube, where someone would look when I pass and drop them. In graphix it says "SEE YA".

Hey, had a chance for a custom paint job. Do not know many people who have as a custom paint job as I..........

I love the Italian hot rod look of the 1990 team "Z" bikes. Either the red, yellow & black of the carbon fiber models or the red, blue & yellow of the steel versions. Unique is what we seek, bizaar is what we are!

With all of the mud, sweat and the occasional blood on my bike it's hard to remember what color it is! Ride baby, ride.

Would you know where there might be a pic of these bikes? Would really like to see one.

The problem is that there is so little surface area to really go wild. Not like a vehicle. I have a frame sitting in closet that is bright lime green. Ugly.....

OMG, how small is the frame and how long is the seatpost? I had a tidy mtb with a huge seatpost, but a road bike.....

Celeste is best for my Bianchi, though my Fondriest Status is a delight.

tt66, do you have a torso, or are you all legs?

My old trek was killer blue, and I loved it. The new Jamis is white with silver and black. I liked the colors on the Trek more, but for shaving 5 pounds, I can live with a white bike.

I have painted, pinstriped, flamed, webbed and just about anything you can think of to vehicles. I would love to break out the HOK paints and an AB on a bike frame.

BTW, I used to own a Graphics Shoppe.
