Frame shock repair

My frame shock has a litttle play in it. When you hold the front brake and move the bike back and forth, it feels the same as when an old threaded headset is loose. Any suggestions?

Shock or fork? If its your rear shock then your DU bushing is worn out. I dont know much about forks other then low end ones usually have play.
