I ride a Colnago Dream Plus (aluminum), 58 ctt, 56 ctc, 73 degree seat tube. Frame size is right.
After getting a pro fitting from an extremely reputable fitter, one of the recommendations was to move the saddle forward. In fact, I had to push it all the way to the end of the rails. Even at this point, although it fits per the specs they came up with, I feel like I'm a bit too much behind the pedals -- I prefer to spin than push. I rode a friend's tri-geometry Cannondale this weekend, and loved being more forward and over the pedals. This means steeper seat tube...
I was going to order a C40, but now am thinking I should check out other frames with steeper seat tubes. Ideas?
You might look at seatposts with no setback - Thomson is a popular one. Also I think there are some seatposts made for triathlon bikes that curve forward. Either of these would put you farther forward.
