The UCI has confirmed it has requested disciplinary proceedings to be opened against Franco Pellizotti (Liquigas-Doimo), Jesus Rosendo Prado (Andalucia-Cajasur) and Tadej Valjavec (Ag2r-La Mondiale) for apparent violation of the Anti-Doping Rules on the basis of the information provided by the blood profiles in their biological passports.

Who do you think is actually clean?

Simon Gerrans (simongerrans) on Twitter "Good to see the biological passport at work!"

Greg Henderson (Greghenderson1) on Twitter "Off you trot Pellizotti. Keep em coming UCI"

  2. not really on topic, but it's heartening to see riders in the current peloton supporting the bio-passport as it nabs the dopers.

  3. So whilst it's great the he likes of poofterzotti is being brought to task, things still ain't a bed of roses. The values that gave away signs of potential doping in the 2009 tours LNG of the mountains were actually taken BEFORE last years tour de France...

Nothing like swift and decisive action... No really...

Cav was right, the guy is a cnut!
