garden is so waterlogged my seeds won't sprout. am i really in cali ?

Exactly. I came from Portland and Seattle, so SF is a MAJOR improvement
in that department. The first summer I was here was gorgeous. Seriously,
It is still like night and day. Usually about now comes the 2/3 of the
year where I don't look outside before leaving the house in t-shirt and
shorts.
