Orbit Gold Medal bicycle. Age uncertain - maybe c. 1975-1980? It seems to be designed as a light tourer. Reynolds 531C frame. 2 x 5 gears. Drop bars. All in working order though would benefit from an overhaul. Seat tube measures c. 22" from centre of bottom bracket to centre of top tube. It's too big for me (5'8"😉 - probably OK for someone around 6'+.
I think this is a good-quality bike, that's just old-fashioned. It belonged to my late father and I'd rather not just scrap it - but I will do if no-one wants it.

A former flat-mate managed to con one out of his in-sewer-ants company when his old heap was stolen, circa 1984, at which point I think they'd been on the market nobbut a year. The 531 frame at a low price - about a hundred and sixty quid - was the USP.
Sadly, it's neither big enough or small enough to be of much use for me John. I hope you find an interested party for this bike. I've got a soft spot for these old frames - they deserve preservation. Garry
