(also lighter stiffer shoes but thats another story)

So excited that I forgot my helmet and took 10 minutes to notice, at some major lights. Embarrassment. I had already discovered some bad SPD habits I must break:
* unclip left foot by twisting heel towards the bike, doesn't work with the KEO.
* planting foot just before I have come to a complete stop, new shoe and cleat slide and scrape, once is too many.
Back home via sideroads and paths. Helmeted for another try.
Then I happened on the perfect training.
Post commuter bikelane with many red lights. Lots of unclipping/reclipping the left foot and stopping first practice.
(Trackstand, that's a stand that is shorter? to allow for the banking???)
I found when I just took off and reclipped it just happened, but any hesitation I'd get the bottom or the top in the wrong place and not know which side I was on. After about 10 lights I was starting to feel the difference and err on being too far forward. Practice and more practice.

I love the click, you KNOW your in.
The release tension is on the minimum - I cannot imagine wanting more.
The bigger footprint is hard to separate from the new shoes.
