  1. Is there an adaptor or spacer of any kind that I can buy to adapt a 35mm front derailleur clamp to a 31.8mm frame tube? Does anybody know whether it will work without an adaptor?

    You are hosed unless you can Arkansaa engineer your own shim. Except that if it's current campy, the clamps can be interchanged, at least on the record and chorus that I am familiar with. see www.branfordbike.com for parts.
