i managed to strip out one of my front derailleur screws,
does anyone know the size as i would like to buy a replacement.
thanks

I am not sure that there is any continuity, per se, in the size of the adjusting screws between brands ...

If there is, then it is about 1.5mm ...

Some the adjustng screws thread into a 'nylon' block on some derailleurs ... in those cases, you can possibly substitute a small "wood" screw [e.g., the type that hold plastic VCR/(VHS) tape cases together].

YOUR best option is to go to a bike shop with EITHER your derailleur and/or bike OR more specific information.

Front derailleurs are not that expensive. Worst case scenario is to buy a new one. Best case is to just replace the screw. Easiest would be to just adjust your derailleur as accurately as possible and use caution when shifting.

In the future when adjusting your stops you should index your derailleur off of your stop make the adjustment and shift back to check the new position. The screw is a stop screw not a jack screw.
