This is a cross country tread design with side dams for flotation in sand and loose stuff but with lugs not so deep that they will slow you down on the hardpack. Medium durometer hardness. The rubber compound is the toughest I’ve seen, and these lugs will not rip off. In addition to the Kevlar bead, the Sedona also has a full width belt for puncture resistance. The weight is only 565g.
