I jumped on the band wagon when the high racers appeared. Last fall I bought a large frame Bacchetta
Strada and made some modifications to suit my tastes. After less than 300miles of riding it I have
decided to sell it. Two reasons. First, as a GRR rider I simply cannot come to grips with the high
bottom bracket. Secondly, I have a TerraTrike 3.4 on order and I really can use the cash to pay for
it. This is a fine bike and the best handling one at low speeds that I have ever ridden. But it is
just not for me. Besides, when I put the sock on my GRR I get plenty of speed.

I mentioned modifications. The ones I made are:
1. Changing to Rapid Fire shifters. (I hate twist grips)
2. This made it necessary to change the front derailleur to a Shimano XTR to allow
proper shifting.
3. The crank set was changed to 170 mm crank arms. At the same time I went to a 52/39/24 setup
with a 11-34 cassette. (I'm a old guy; and we have some hills here in southwest Ohio…no
apologies (g))
4. Bacchetta brake levers have been retrofitted to solve the "mushy" rear brake situation.
5. Installed a Topeak Panoram computer
6. Included is a yellow RANS Aero Bag (it won't fit my GRR).

I think this a real good deal at only $1500 (firm). I would prefer not to ship if possible, but if
it comes to that the buyer will pay all shipping costs.
