Originally equipped with Campagnolo Super Record components, this frame
measurements include a
Seat-Tube of 58cm c-c,
Top-Tube of 58.5cm c-c,
and 41cm c-c chain-stays.
It accepts recessed brakes, comes with Campagnolo seat-post clamp bolt and
drop-out screws.
It is fitted with a water bottle mount, braze-on shifter bosses, and cut-out BB
shell.
It comes with chrome-plated Campagnolo drop-outs, a chrome plated semi-sloping
fork crown, chrome-plated right chain-stay and seat-stay caps.
In fact, it was made completely chromed beneath their paint, something that is
impossible to find these days.
The BIANCHI name is embossed on the seat stay caps, while the Bianchi "B" is
embossed on the head-lug, and fork-crown tops.
The frame material is full Columbus SL tubing consistent with the vintage
tubing decal.
All original decals are 100% intact, however, there are the beginning signs of
edge pealing in some areas.
There is No visible rust except what appears to be two 1mm diameter surface
discolorations on the Left side seat-stay cap.
Normally, these are too small to be noticed unless you are really looking for
them, but I felt I should mention them none-the-less.
The BLACK paint is in Good condition and has had several applications of wax or
clear-coat.
I have several photos, but please understand, I have limited time and can send
them out to serious inquiries only.
The perfect bike for the collector or Bianchi diehard.
Thanks for looking.
