Vintage 7Eleven - $75 - This is not a modern re-make, but an original
1980's team jersey made by Descente. Arguably the greatest American
cycling team prior to USPS, the squad was the first American team in
the Tour de France, won the Giro d'Italia with Andy Hampsten, gave us
the first American Tour stage winner, and also held the yellow jersey
with an opportune break by Steve Bauer. This jersey is tagged as a
Large, with actual measurement across the chest of 19.5 inches. The
material is 80% Polyester and 20% Cotton. There are a couple tiny
specks on the front from road use, but all seams are 100% and there
are no holes or loose threads at all.

New Tour Sprinter's PMU - $35 - Brand new with tags, this Nike jersey
is from 1999, when Erik Zabel of Germany was the fastest sprinter that
could make it over the Alps and the Pyrenees and all the way to Paris.
The primary sponsor of this classification is PMU, France's off-track
betting parlors. Marked as a large, it actually measures 21" inches
across the chest. The condition is perfect as it is brand new - never
even worn.

New Bellwether Fleece Jersey - $25 - Brand new, this Polartec fleece
top is perfect on or off the bike. Super soft Polartec material allows
moisture to evaporate while keeping the wind out. The color is gray
with a hint of blue. The chest zipper is 11.5" inches long for easy
ventilation. There are two zippered back pockets with angled openings
for easy access. The waist and sleeve openings are elasticized to keep
cold air from sneaking in. The size is marked as a Large, and it
actually measures 21" across the chest. Condition is perfect - it has
never been worn, tags attached. It could also be worn over a pair of
jeans, too.

Vintage Long Sleeve Wool Euro Jersey - $25 - I got this jersey for the
cool logo graphics of the old G. Betrix television brand. Motoconfort
is the vintage motorcycle and scooter brand that eventually merged
with Motobecane, the affiliated bicycle brand. This jersey is probably
from the fifties or sixties and is in very good condition for the age.
The neck zipper will need to be sewn back into place as it has pulled
away from shrinking. There are a few dropped stitches on the three
rear pockets. These are an easy fix. All of the letters are the old
school flocked-on felt lettering. There are no sizing tags, and it
actually measures 18" across the chest.

Vintage Italia "Casartelli" Santini Jersey - $45 - I added this jersey
to my collection as a memento of Fabio Casartelli. This was the
uniform of the Italia "Azurri" team at the time of Fabio's win in the
1992 Olympic road race in Barcelona. The condition of this
Italian-made shirt is excellent, with one very light spot under the
right arm pit and one or two tiny pulls in the material which are too
small to notice. Marked as a Medium, this actually measures 18.5
inches across the chest, and the material is stretchy, so you could
add another inch or so to get the tight fit it was designed for.

Giro d'Italia Leaders Jersey - $45 - This jersey is from the 83rd
Giro, won by Stefano Garzelli in 2000. Made by Fila, it sports iced
tea sponsor EstaThe, as well as Gazzetto dello Sport - the daily
sports newspaper whose pink pages inspired the leader's jersey color.
Size is 19 inches across the chest. The condition is perfect - new
without tags.

Late 90's era GAN insurance Jersey - $35 - From the era of Chris
Boardman when he wore yellow in the '97 (I think) Tour de France. Bike
sponsor Eddy Merckx is also on the jersey. Gan has been sponsoring
cycling off and on and includes Greg leMond and Jacques Anquetil. Size
is Large and measures 20.5" across the chest.
