I have a used wheelset, great for track training or fixed gear use. I include both types of axles
and a pair of red Salsa Flip-Offs that match the rims nicely.
The Hubs:
32h Suntour Superbe Pro high-flange track hubs. Currently fitted with hollow axles for quick
releases, but will include original solid Suntour track axles and nuts.
The Rims:
Mavic CXP-33 red anodized rims, clincher.
The Spokes:
Front wheel built with 14/16 Wheelsmith silver spokes, cross 3, brass nips. Rear wheel built with
14/15 DT silver spokes, cross 3, brass nips.
The Lowdown:
I built up this wheelset last spring for fixed gear use on the old Suntour hubs I had in a parts
box. The hubs look good, probably a 7 out of 10 with small scratches but nothing serious. Still
bright and shiny. The sealed bearings are quite smooth.
The rims and spokes were new at that time. I would say that there are approximately 500 miles on
the wheels.
