I am participating in the Empire State AIDS Ride in August and need to raise $3500 in order to ride from Niagra Falls to New York City for AIDS. Any fund raising ideas or ways to gain sponsors?

1. Ads in local paper
2. Announcement/sign up at work
3. Announcement/sign up at gym
4. Go door to door in neighborhood(s)--maybe the best way
5. Family
6. Friends
7. Sign up at LBS--maybe the LBS can throw an event.
