I tour by bicycle quite frequently and always have relied on paper maps to find my way, butI recently I purchased this GPS and I'm having a difficult time using it. I've loaded the micro card map for the US, but cannot upload the map on the device. I checked the map data and it is complete. I've been told that I do not need to unlock the map and have never received a prompt to do so. I would like to upload it to Mapsourse on my computer and design a route using waypoints, but I can't seem to upload the map to get started. I'm a new user and this is my first GPS device and it seems to be quite confusing and complicated too. Does anyone know of a tutorial to walk me though step by step? Or, can anyone advise me on how to use it. I find the manual useless.
