Gatorade has more salt and sugar than water, so when you are sick, you are less likely to have
problems with salt loss. However, there are better solutions out there, such Pedialyte, which have concentrations of salt
(sodium, potassium and chloride) that are closer to what is lost with vomiting and diarrhea, so
these are usually recommended. If the vomiting and diarrhea are not so bad, the Gatorade probably won't hurt.
