  1. Just before the Llyn Eiglau car park there is a track that goes off to
the right and eventually goes round to the Dulyn Reservoir. There is
also a track that goes up to the ruined sluice gates etc (GR 724673 I
    think).

Since this is the way we plan to descend following this years attempt
on the Welsh 3's, does anyone know if it is possible to get a vehicle
up the track (and if possible to the sluice gates)?

    Thanks

    John

Not sure, but as it looks like you're not getting any other replies . .
    ..

I parked at Llyn Eigiau a while back and walked up the track. I
climbed a stile to get on it, so there must have been a gate, probably
locked (or I'd have gone through it). I met a farmer in some sort of
vehicle coming the other way, so it must be passable - depending on
your vehicle. It's described as a "wide stoned track" at

All in all, I'd be surprised if you can get beyond the car-park.
